The traditional anode steel claw for aluminum electrolysis is made of cast steel, its composition is relatively fixed, and there may be slag, porosity, insufficient stress release before use and other phenomena during and after casting, which result in poor electrical conductivity, large deformation, easy oxidation and other shortcomings of the steel claw. Due to the limitations of the production process, the chemical composition of the traditional casting steel claw cannot be accurately controlled, and the problems such as bubbles and slag cannot be avoided during the casting process, resulting in easy corrosion during use, and the conductivity is affected.

Structural steel claws are welded using hot rolled steel materials with high electrical conductivity, few impurities, high density, fewer pores, etc., which reduces the resistivity of the workpiece and improves the electrical conductivity of the workpiece; at the same time, the hot rolled steel material has high strength and plasticity, which reduces the damage rate of the workpiece and improves the quality of the repair.






  • Lower maintenance rate: When replacing or repairing structural steel claw legs, it is easy to weld and not easy to break legs, which overcomes the relatively poor welding performance of cast steel claws.
  • When the structural steel claw is used in the electrolysis cell, the voltage drop of the claw itself will be reduced by 5-20mv, and the power consumption of tonnes of aluminium will be reduced by about 15-60KW· h.




  • All welds adopt full section welding, and the performance indexes of welds are basically consistent with that of base materials.
  • The steel claw is directly welded from low-carbon steel profiles, without porosity, slag, coarse grains and other casting defects, which effectively solves all kinds of problems existing in cast steel.
