From January 13 to 17, a delegation led by Abdalla Zarouni, vice president of technology development and transfer of UAE Global Aluminum Company (EGA), an international aluminum giant, visited Jingwei Technology for a week of technical exchange and investigation activities. The delegation was composed of experts from EGA technology, electrolysis, asset management, machinery, anode assembly, workshop maintenance and other related departments.

    It is reported that EGA was formed by the merger of Dubai Aluminum (DUBAL) and UAE aluminum (EMAL) in 2013, with two aluminum companies. Its production capacity of electrolytic aluminum is 2.9 million tons per year, covering every link of the aluminum value chain such as bauxite mining, alumina refining and primary aluminum smelting, ranking among the world's top 10 aluminum producers. Its products are sold to more than 50 countries and regions worldwide, and it is currently one of the largest producers of high-quality aluminum in the world and the largest industrial company in the UAE outside of oil and gas.

    Jingwei Technology has been deeply engaged in the electrolytic aluminum industry for 20 years, focusing on the research and development of technology and equipment in the subdivision fields of electrolytic aluminum energy saving, environmental protection, intelligent manufacturing, etc. It has obtained more than 100 domestic patents. And it is a national high-tech enterprise, a national specialized "little giant" enterprise, and a single champion enterprise in Henan Province's manufacturing industry.     During the visit, the two sides had comprehensive discussions on the international aluminum industry technological progress, electrolytic aluminum energy saving and emission reduction, environmental protection, etc. Jingwei Technology introduced the company's recent research progress and development achievements in electrolytic aluminum energy saving and emission reduction, hazardous waste recycling, new energy-saving materials and other aspects. The EGA team shared in detail its advanced applications and technical achievements in energy saving and intelligent control of electrolytic aluminum. EGA team also visited the company's production workshop, accompanied by company personnel to Liaocheng, Shandong Province, Baotou, Inner Mongolia, respectively, to investigate the application of the company's products in customers.

    In the future, Jingwei Technology will further strengthen communication and exchanges with EGA, deepen complementarity of advantages, deepen cooperation in energy conservation and emission reduction of electrolytic aluminum, and jointly help the international electrolytic aluminum industry achieve high-quality development.
